For the last few years, I have focused broadly across independent media, journalism education, trauma journalism, multimedia reporting and economic sustainability. From 1984 through 2008, I worked as a full-time newspaper and wire service photojournalist, originally in Boston, primarily in Philadelphia and briefly in Baghdad.
